  The Henderson - Haseelbalch equation is used to determine the final pH of a weak acid solution once the dissociation reaction reaches equilibrium. 

 

 

 

 


 Calculate the pH of a mixture of 0.1 M acetic acid and 0.2 M sodium acetate. (The pKa of acetic is 4.76).
