The Henderson - Hasselbalch Relationship   The Henderson - Haseelbalch equation is used to determine the final pH of a weak acid solution once the dissociation reaction reaches equilibrium.            Calculate the pH of a mixture of 0.1 M acetic acid and 0.2 M sodium acetate. (The pKa of acetic is 4.76).

INTERACTION BETWEEN WATER AND SALT(NaCl)

  THIS VIDEO IS A COLLABORATION OF OUR TEAM, "BOSSKU BIOCHEMISTRY" WITH ANOTHER GROUP NAMED "RRQ" FROM LECTURE GROUP 2. THIS VIDEO EXPLAIN ON HOW DOES INTERACTION OCCUR BETWEEN WATER AND SALT.  NaCl is polar and in solid crystal form, Na is positively polar while Cl is negatively polar.  Water, H2O is also a polar substance. H is positively charge while O is negatively charge. When NaCl added into water, Cl will attract H which positively charge and Na will attract O which negatively charge. NaCl will loss it crystal form. That's how crystal form dissolves in water.   RRQ X BOSSKU

In our daily life there are so many things that significant to biochemistry reaction such as the uses of enzymes in detergent that help to remove stain on the our clothes. Each enzyme have its own function for certain stain such as celulase enzyme that break down the cellulose molecule into monosaccharide . Furthermore, biochemistry also been apply in medicine and clinical. Some drug are useful to fight against infection and also can act as antibiotics for our immune systems in our body. Biochemistry have three areas of study, first is conformational that describe about the structure and three dimension arrangements of bio-molecules. Second is metabolism.
